Abstract

In a real-world curtain manufacturing, a critical process involves cutting profiles for fabric assembly. Each fabric batch requires a unique profile with specific dimensions and components. This variety in profile dimensions, references, and component sets creates challenges in material optimization and assembly time management. This paper proposes several methods tailored for this company, along with a corresponding mathematical model to optimize material usage. Each method targets a specific objective, allowing managers to select the approach that best aligns with their current needs and constraints, which can be dynamic.
