dataset · Zenodo (CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research)
This dataset contains survey data collected to assess handwashing knowledge and hygiene practices among students in selected basic schools in Ghana in the post-COVID-19 era. The cross-sectional dataset includes 205 student responses and covers demographic characteristics (age group, sex, and class level), knowledge of handwashing, sources of hygiene information, and self-reported handwashing practices in various situations such as before eating, after toilet use, after playing, and when hands are visibly dirty. Variables are primarily categorical and recorded using predefined response options. The dataset has been anonymized and contains no personally identifiable information. It is intended to support research on school health, public health, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) practices among school-aged children.
