An Improved DC-AC Power Converter

Abstract

An improved DC-AC power converter is presented in this research work. It is realized by combination of two Y-like configurations at High side of the power circuit with only power switches at low side to produce H-bridge single-phase single stage converter system. The key aim is to prevent short-circuit effects in case two power switches on the same leg are turned ON at the same time. The following results are realized: power output of 3255.71 W, output voltage of 305.70V and current output of 10.650A.
