The purpose of this research was to develop a 225Ac-targeted alpha therapy delivery vehicle using PLGA-chitosan-folic acid-based nanoparticles for tumour selectivity. 8 to 10 MBq of 225Ac-PSMA617-TFA radiopharmaceuticals were produced. The quality controls were monitored, the radiochemical purity was determined in triplicate using a cut-and-count method, where the segments of the iTLC TSA strips were counted
in a gamma well counter in the Francium-221 (221Fr) energy window, 218 keV. The data set includes tables and summaries of the research conducted. This was a prospective quantitative experimental study that included the following experiments:Radiolabeling of 225Ac PSMAPreparation of PLGA nanoparticlesFunctionalising of PLGA nanoparticles with chitosan and folic acidEncapsulation of 225Ac PSMA into PLGA-chitosan-folic acid nanoparticlesIn-vitro drug release
