This paper presents the design and development of a slotted patch antenna for C/S Band satellite data transmission, operating at 3.5 GHz and 5.6 GHz. The proposed antenna employs a rectangular patch with strategically introduced slots to enhance performance characteristics. Utilizing an FR4 lossy substrate with a dielectric constant of 4.3, the antenna is designed and simulated using CST software. The simulation results demonstrate favorable performance with reflection coefficients of -17 dB and - 26 dB, and gains of 3.98 dB and 5.36 dB at the respective frequencies.
