The Internet of Things refers to the interconnected network of physical devices, vehicles, appliances, and other objects embedded with sensors, software, and network connectivity, enabling them to collect and exchange data. The Internet of Things (IoT) has made significant inroads, especially into the healthcare sector, transforming the way medical services are delivered, monitored, and managed. The integration of IoT devices and technologies in healthcare has resulted in improved patient outcomes, enhanced efficiency, and a more proactive approach to healthcare management. the main issues are the protection of sensor data and the availability of appropriate local and global connectivity.
