article
In this article we introduced an ultrawideband (UWB) spiral antenna designed with pair curl arms, which delivers unidirectional radiation patterns through circular polarization (CP). The antenna features high gain and impressive radiation efficiency, with connectivity provided by four SMA connectors. It achieves a gain of 8.3 dBic, making it ideal for industrial UHF applications. The antenna operates across a frequency band from 5 GHz to 6.5 GHz, with its optimal response frequency at 5.8 GHz. Coaxial transmission lines are meticulously connected to each pair of antenna arms, ensuring robust performance. The antenna is capable of controlling right-hand circular polarization (RHCP), enhancing its versatility and effectiveness in various applications.
