Wangiwe is a systems entrepreneur and ecosystem builder leading Emerge Livelihoods – championing a thriving ecosystem that amplifies the self-reliance of individuals and communities in Malawi and beyond - and two subsidiary entities - Emerge Fund focused on providing transformative financing solutions for micro, small and medium enterprises and Emerge Ventures - a venture builder investing in agriculture, real estate and eco-tourism. A start up farmer co-owning Libwee - an agrotourism hub focused on integrated crop and livestock production, eco-spaces and farm to table hosting. I was recognized as one of 2024 Wealth Magazine's 100 Inspiring Women in Malawi, 2023 Africa Startup and Ecosystem Builders-ASEB Ecosystem Builder-Malawi, 2019s Meaningful Business 100 for successfully combining profit and purpose to help achieve the UN SDGs, SASA/Global Startup Awards 2019 Female Role Model of the year Malawi and 2018 Community Builder awardee under the Social Impact Incubator Malawi.
