About

I am a researcher, venture builder, and practitioner working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data governance, and privacy. With over fourteen years of experience spanning research, consulting, and entrepreneurship, my work is oriented toward understanding how organisations can adopt AI and manage data responsibly, and how innovation ecosystems can be designed to generate lasting value. My research focuses on the intersection of AI fluency and personal data in business transformation, with particular attention to data rights, the data economy, and organisational innovation. I am currently pursuing this work as a PhD researcher at Nottingham Trent University. I hold a Master of Science in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Warwick and a Master of Business Administration from the National University of Science and Technology. Beyond academia, I founded and led the TechVillage Innovation Centre in Zimbabwe, where I supported hundreds of entrepreneurs across a decade of programmes funded by organisations including USAID, UNICEF, and the European Union. I previously served as a Program Manager for Microsoft's digital skilling programmes across Africa, overseeing the delivery of skills to over ten thousand individuals across the continent. Today, I operate two platforms designed to strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems: Venture Nation, a country-level diagnostic and mapping platform that brings visibility and structure to Africa's startup ecosystems, and the Startup Clinic, a guided support platform that connects founders to the right help at their specific point of need.
