Charles Nweke

I am a strategy, commercialisation, and ecosystem development professional with over 15 years of experience working across Africa, Australia, and beyond at the intersection of innovation, energy, education, and climate systems. I currently provide consulting services to BFA Global’s Catalyst Fund, where I support high-potential ventures across sectors, including clean energy, agriculture, waste management, agroforestry, and climate resilience in markets such as Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda. My work focuses on helping founders strengthen their business models, improve investment readiness, refine their go-to-market strategies, and navigate the complexities of scaling in emerging African markets. Prior to this, I worked as a Senior Associate at McKinsey & Company, advising organisations across energy, financial services, and public sector transformation. Earlier in my career, I worked within Australia’s energy sector across engineering, planning, and business development roles, including at Santos and Infosys.
